Quinoa and Wild Rice

This is a favorite of the kids.
Actually anything that has rice in it
is a favorite. So we try to sneak some healthy
ingredients into it when even possible!

1 cup Quinoa
1 cup Wild Rice
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1/4 cup almond slivers
1 small can mandarin oranges

Step 1:
Cook quinoa and wild rice separately according to box directions. Then combine the quinoa and wild rice together in a single pot.

Step 2:
Add dried cranberries, almonds, and mandarin oranges to rice mixture. Heat over low heat until mixture is warmed throughout. 

Tonight Tony served the Quinoa with sautéed vegetables and 
Tilapia. Yum...a healthy night and delicious!
