Lazy days....

Don't you love those lazy summer days.....
When you can find some shade...

Relax in a comfortable chair...

 Sip some homemade sun tea...

 Catch up on your reading....

Watch the birds feed on sunflower seeds...

Enjoy the company of a friend....

and if you are lucky sneak a cat nap in before the day is over....

Love those lazy summer days!

Finished.....

Happy to say we restocked the booth today!  Lots of finished projects!

When writing this post, the thought of naming it "Parting is  such sweet sorrow" crossed my mind. There are two projects which I wanted to take into the house and keep.....forever! I knew as soon as I would walk them though the door they would never leave.

These four Haywood Wakefield chairs traveled to the booth today.

When my friend found me this desk, my heart skipped a beat. It is adorable and I could picture it being used as an end table in my family room....I mean in a family room or as a cute desk in a child's room.

I was going to carry it into our family room to take picture, but Tony advised me not to....he is a smart man!

This yellow chair did make it into our family room and never made the trip to the booth...oh well...that is how it goes sometimes!

Slow and steady...

This summer there is only one way to sum up my painting efforts in the shop.....slow! Somewhere between June and August I lost my motivation....it might have something to do with enjoying those lazy summer days.

This week I decided to try to be productive and find some motivation!

Remember these chairs I started this winter? Number one on my list to finish....

Started to plan what color to paint these chairs. Don't you think they need a unique color...any thoughts? Maybe red...yellow...light green?

This mantle was in my booth at the Olde Factory and on Monday we took it apart. Can't wait to share with you what I want to transform it into!!

My neighbor found this chair and dropped it off. We thought we could fix it, but the spindles were too short and in the trash they went. It is now my painting bench....it works perfect for painting mirrors, chalkboards ect....

One of three mirrors ready for the shop....

Oooo....another finished project! Black bench ready to go to the shop....

Back to unfinished projects....

This cute dresser belongs to my friend and is my next subway art dresser! We are going to paint it with the streets that have meaning to their family! Isn't it darling....I am so excited to get started.

Thinking feet would look cute? What are you thoughts?
Hopefully the next post with be of finished projects! One can hope....right?
