Favorites...

It has been awhile since I provided photo's from The Olde Factory on the blog. When I visit the factory I usually take pictures and post on Relatively Unique Facebook page, but I though you might like to see some of my favorites from last month.

I measured this bench and tried to find the perfect spot for it, but no luck. Wouldn't it look great in a kitchen or entry way? Where would you put it?

How about this black bench?

If our patio was done, I would love to have this set....

And these chairs....

Thought this was a cute idea...

Some iron stone pottery...

These pieces came home with me....

I love this idea; an old shutter turned into a mirror....

Love the wooden drawer pulls....

A peek at our booth....the dresser was SOLD last week!!

I have been making slow changes to the bedroom and this sign started it all....

And here is what I am currently working on in the shop....

Hope you have a great Monday!!

Inspiration (running)....

Don't you love when you find inspiration when you are not even looking for it?

Lil Tony is getting ready for Cross Country and he lost his running partner (Maddie), which means I needed to fill the position. I should tell you, that I love to walk and will walk for miles. Give me a walking buddy and I can walk for miles....running on the other hand comes a little (lot) harder, but I sucked it up and filled the position. If you would see us running I am the one who looks like I am about to fall over!

We have developed a running schedule and to my surprise, I love our route. It provides so many gardening ideas and inspiration, that I forget about the running.

The other day Lil Tony and I encouraged the whole family to walk our route....
There are two beautiful dry river beds which are filled with day lilies and black eyed Susan's....

This bridge crosses over a beautiful pond.

Loving how the plants are right up to the edge of the pond....

Fields of wild flowers line the property with paths cut through the flowers and grasses. We love trying out new paths to see where they take us...

In case you were wondering, this beautiful property belongs to an area school....it is amazing.

On our way home we spotted an other inspirational moment...

When I look at this picture, I wish I could freeze time. It amazes me how fast time goes and how grown up our children are. Sometimes I wish we could slow things down and make moments last a little longer, although I know just around the corner is another moment I would want to freeze.

Do you ever wish you could freeze time?

Sweet surprise...

We thought it would look pretty to have a few rows of sunflowers
on the edge of the property....
between us and the farm behind us.

After clearing the area, planting and watering of sunflower seeds...
nothing...
not a single sunflower...

and then to our surprise in the flower garden
under the bird feeder...
sunflowers started to grow..

Would the sunflower seeds meant for the birds bloom?

Patiently we watched
and sure enough the first bloom opened
yesterday...
Thank you to our little feathered friends,
who apparently know how to plant
sunflower seeds better then we do!

Surprise #2:
After a long hot day at work,
I came home to find a vase of beautiful blue hydrangea's
sitting on my side porch...

A sweet gift from a dear friend...

Surprise # 3:
This little hydrangea produced not a single bloom last year..
This year one pink blossom...
hopefully many more next year!

Don't you love sweet surprises?

(If you want to see other flowers in our garden, you can find them here!)
