Twig Ornaments....

Last evening Sarah and I took a little hike in the woods and collected a bag full of twigs. She has been asking (begging) to make some Christmas ornaments.

Here is our bag full of twigs...

We started out making snowflakes....

Then we decided to try some trees....

The only supplies we needed were twigs, hot glue gun, a tiny branch of pine, and twine...

Making ornaments from items from the woods
was lots of fun...and teaching the kids
sometimes all we need in right in our back yard!

Thanks for showing us the "how to".

These are so pretty! They'd make great tags for gift wrapping, too!

I love these! They are rustic and just perfect for a tree.

I love that you made a homemade ornament. We made one every year with our kids and it was always {well mostly} fun. Your friends will love getting them.
