It all started on a rainy Friday
with one little bird enjoying a tire swing...
and one little Blue whose leash was a bit too short ....
(and a little bird who knew he was safe)
(and a little bird who knew he was safe)
I quickly grabbed my camera to catch the shot....
Pennsylvania seems more like Seattle the past few weeks...
sunny one moment and rainy the next...
My camera scanned the yard and found my
poppies also looking tired from the rain...
I understand tired...
but I also understand standing tall...
and here they are
on a beautiful sunny day...
when we had no rain...
I have read every comment and
every email...
You have again touched my heart...
inspired me...
My thoughts and I
slowly walked the yard...
pondering the word BALANCE...
Thinking about how to balance...
rain and sun...
calm and busy...
good and bad...
That was when I saw the sun pushing through the trees...
standing tall...
making its presence known...
and my answer came to me...
balance comes with help...
never alone...
A reminder to me that without this rain
this beauty would not have been present...
Truth be told...
How could I not share this with you?
So...here is my plan...
I can't promise daily posts...
I can't promise weekly posts...
I can't promise monthly posts...
but
I can promise to share
little bits of beauty now and then...
Hope you'll stay...

Hip Hip Hurray!
You couldn't have said it better.
Beautiful post, Wendy. I think your plan sounds great. When blogging becomes a chore, it is no longer fun. I post when I can and if things get too busy, blogging gets pushed to the side. I look forward to seeing updates from you whenever you get the chance. Never feel pressure to post on some kind of schedule. It's not worth it!
Sounds perfect to me my dear bloggy friend! I can't wait to read your beautiful posts, whenever you post them. You made the right decision and I am so happy you are going to find that balance that everyone craves in their lives.
Have a good weekend and until next time, blessings and best wishes.
Natasha.

Simply beautiful!!
Post as little or as often as you like, we will still read your blog! Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures!
I love your poppies!
Wendy, I'm so glad. I would have missed your posts. You have a great creative eye and wonderfully thoughtful posts. Balance is a good thing, although finding it is hard. I know what you mean). Beautiful photos, my friend!
Hooray!!!
Truth be told?
That was one of the prettiest and most honest answers I have ever read to the question: "Should I stop blogging?" and believe me, I have asked myself the SAME question dozens of times.
I see the Son pushing through your burdens and bringing you rest.
He is the One who brings balance.
I am so glad you are still with us!
You are needed in this tapestry...
I LOVE YOU!!

I'm glad that you have found a way to blog that will work for you. I would have really missed your posts.
And, wow! What beautiful photos this time!
XOXO
Best news I've heard in a long time.
Maybe you can do scheduled posts once a week or so . . . .

What a beautiful and heartfelt post Wendy. Of course we will be here. Balance is never easy - whether it is parenting, blogging, work, or play. It is always there tugging at us.
Xo,
Rene
Oh, this was beautiful, and profound, and perfectly put! Thank you for putting my heart into words. Hmmm...stunning!
Wendy I'm so glad you've come to this realisation because I've just 'discovered' you and your blog is an absolute delight.
In just the first four posts that I've read, you've made me smile, wonder and ponder - so if you want to know if your writing and images have a positive effect, believe me they do.
I'm looking forward to exploring more and hope that your day is filled with all that makes you truly happy.
xx Felicity
