This post was so much fun! One of my favorites!
I went to my Grandmother Audrey's with my camera!
I went to my Grandmother Audrey's with my camera!
Her home is like walking into a favorite shop!
There are ideas in every corner...
I took 94 pictures!
I am going to share my 10 ten favorite finds in her home!
Let me tell you, it was so hard to pick my 10 favorite.
Let me tell you, it was so hard to pick my 10 favorite.
Where you scared I was going to share 94!!
It was so much fun to have my camera and take my time.
I also got to hear stories about so many pieces and why they are so special.
It was a great afternoon!
#1
A collection of Iron Stone Pottery
These are 2 different blue shelves.
I think that is transferware on the top of the shelf...am I right?
#2
Using the top of a chair as a decoration and
to hang items from.
I never would have thought of this!
#3
Turning an old toaster into a lamp
#4
Making a cabinet out of old barnwood
and use the cabinet for spices and tea.
#5
Stacking stools to make a decorative statement
#6
There is so much in this picture I love,
but I have to pick the hanging candle chandelier.
Tony's pick was the collection of small brooms.
You pick your favorite!!
#7
A warm teapot waiting for your guests on your coffee table.
#8
Framing a piece of a favorite quilt.
#9
Using an antique soup bowl as a shaving cup.
#10
Could I really be at 10 already?
Hanging vintage child dresses as a decoration
(don't you love the small shutter above the dresses)
We didn't even get to see how she made her livingroom curtains from doilies,
her antique doll clothe collection, her laundry room or how she turned a closet into an open pantry.
Although, I will leave you with a picture
of my Grandpa and Grandma Audrey.
I keep going back over the pictures and find new treasures and ideas!
I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
